Par Florane is a clothing project entirely built by me, Florane Bolduc. I started it from a passion for creating rather than buying, and a desire to share my creative process with the world.
As a self-taught designer with a background in environmental design, I create distinctive, versatile pieces inspired by nature, curiosity, and the desire to make clothes that capture attention and boost confidence.

My vision and goal
My goal is to build a company around slow fashion. Creating takes time, and I want that to be reflected in the way I make and think about clothing.
It’s so easy to click and buy compulsively, but behind every piece is a person, their time, energy, and hands. I want to bring that back into focus. Every detail is chosen with intention, and every piece means something to me.

Sustainability approach
I make in small quantities, mostly through drops and made-to-order, to avoid unnecessary production and waste.
I continuously look for ways to make my process more sustainable: using natural and locally sourced fibers, thrifting yarn, reusing yarn from old garments, creating with leftover materials, and choosing more eco-friendly packaging.
Sustainability is considered throughout the life of a piece, from where its materials come from to how long it can be worn.
