- The garments are designed and handmade by Florane in Montreal, Québec.
- How do I take care of a knit garment?
- Remember to be gentle when washing and handling handmade knits, as they can be delicate. Store your knits folded, don't hang them. Wash them as little as possible, too. Always hand wash with a mild detergent and cold water. A step-by-step guide to handwashing your knits is sent with every order.
- How are the pieces made?
- I handmake my garments in my studio. My knitting machine is the vintage Singer Memo-Matic 360K. Using a knitting machine allows me to create pieces with more precision and a refined finish. Think sewing machine, but for knitting.
- What materials do you use?
- A lot of consideration goes into the materials we use. We use natural fibers that are kind to the planet, feel nice, and last a long time. Part of our sustainable practice is reusing yarns that are thrifted or sourced locally.
